One of the things that surprises first-time visitors researching Malibu vacation rentals is how varied the area actually is. PCH runs through the middle of it, but the neighborhoods on either end couldn’t be more different. Here’s the lay of the land.
Broad Beach · Wide Sandy Shoreline & Striking Modern Estates
Broad Beach is one of the widest, most walkable stretches of sand in Malibu. You can walk a half-mile without passing another person. Broad Beach Modern is a 7,200-square-foot contemporary with a three-story glass wall and direct beach access. Ocean Villa occupies a rare double-wide lot, a Cape Cod-style mansion with space and privacy that barely exists anymore on the California coast. Just past Broad Beach, Luxe Beach House sits right on the sand with roughly 60 feet of private beach and a deck built for long afternoons.
