The primary suite opens onto an expansive beachfront deck, where the indoor-outdoor line all but disappears and the view runs from Catalina to the Channel Islands. Two guest bedrooms round out the interior, each built for quiet comfort. Out on the deck, there’s room to spread out for dinner, an afternoon of doing nothing, or watching dolphins and sea lions work the shoreline — with migrating whales making their seasonal pass offshore.
Come in from the waves and rinse off at the beach-level hot-water shower, then head back out for paddleboarding, kayaking, boogie boarding, snorkeling, or — if you’re after more of a thrill — surfing, kite surfing, spearfishing, or a day of open water. When you’re ready to wander, Neptune’s Net is a short stroll up the coast, and Trancas Country Mart and Point Dume are minutes away for dinner or a little boutique shopping. The Santa Monica Mountains trails are right there too, if a change of scenery calls.
