An elegant contemporary home on the waterfront in San Carles Ibiza. The Villa del Mar, which was designed by a well known architect for a private client, sits on the sea front in a secluded position in the charming bay of Cala Mastella.

Outside there are multiple terraces for eating drinking and relaxing, and a wonderful large chill out with built in deep cushioned sofas, views over the twenty five meter pool and the sea. The main dining terrace with a dining table and chairs for twenty people also looks over the pool to the sea beyond and is located next to the outdoor bar, kitchen and barbecue. The terrace adjacent to the kitchen is a perfect shady spot to have breakfast in the morning. On the garden side of the house there is a lawn a fountain in the spacious driveway and a petanque court where late afternoon boules games are held with a glass of rose.

One enters the house via the main door to a cool hallway with double height ceiling, from here there is a large living room with fireplace on the right leading through double french doors to the main dining and pool terrace. To the left is a more intimate living room and a large dining room with a four.3 meter dining table which seats twenty people. The spacious bright fully equipped kitchen is adjacent to the dining room, has a breakfast table for seven, a pantry with large fridge freezers and every modern convenience for preparing food.

There are eight double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms in the house and a single bedroom which has to share a bathroom. On the ground level there is one double bedroom with patio and separate entrance this double bedroom has a lovely all white bathroom with double basins a WC and a shower. On this level next to the front entrance of the house there is a further double bedroom with ensuite and also with its own entrance. The remaining six double bedrooms are upstairs, the master bedroom which has a balcony and wonderful views of the sea has a large kingsize bed and a double bathroom with separate washbasin areas and a shared double shower and two separate WC. There is a library next to the master bedroom with TV and a large desk area with its own entrance from the driveway. On the sea side of the house there are two further double guest bedrooms each with their own ensuite bathrooms with bath, shower and twin basins, dressing area and balcony. Bedrooms four and five which are ensuite with showers look over the gardens. Bedroom four has a double sleigh bed, balcony and its own entrance with stairs to the garden, bedroom five has twin beds. Bedroom six has a balcony and is ensuite with a shower .There is a single bedroom adjacent to the master bedroom and library this bedroom does not have its own bathroom.

The house which also has a home cinema is elegantly furnished and is bright spacious and airy. There is a live in couple who look after the property and the pool area and take care of the daily cleaning, prepare breakfast and do the shopping. There is also a further house manager who takes care of additional cleaning laundry and organisation of the house and there is a cook. Concierge services are available.

The property is extremely private and is air conditioning and is equipped with an alarm system which is connected to a security service and the police. The owner has a twelve meter Itama 38 speed boat which may be rented for day trips or overnight trips to Fomenter. The sea is accessed down a short tunnel via a rocky beach.
