Originally established as a homestead in 1880’s, Applegate Ranch, continues to be lovingly maintained by present owners.  Surrounded by state forest lands and conservancy property, this estate of 10 acres, essentially extends to include 90,000 acres of hiking and biking trails. Bring your boots, bikes and favorite people to enjoy your own private resort. Horse shoe pits, Frisbee golf, bocce ball, croquet, corn hole, are just some of the games provided. Open meadows provide endless exploration with distant trees ringing the property for privacy.  

This is the place to come home to after experiencing a day at the beach, shopping in the quaint village of Mendocino, hiking the numerous trails along the coast or just communing with nature. A fire pit provides the gathering space to roast marsh mellows and share adventures, at the end of the day.  The large hot tub will melt away sore muscles from a rigorous hiking excursion or just provide a relaxing soak. BBQing on the deck and enjoying an evening meal, al fresco, extends the experience and at the end of the day, the comfy beds embrace, for a quiet night’s rest.
