Located on the green hill of Tiberio, in the eastern parts of the island, Villa Carolina is a classic Mediterranean style farmhouse of the late 19th century, overlooking the entire Gulf of Naples, Vesuvius and the Sorrento Peninsula. Totally restored in 2010, it has preserved its original typical Capri style while adding to the comfort, leisure and relaxation offered by modern technology. It is surrounded by agaves, prickly pears and olive trees typical of the mediterranean vegetation. A piece of paradise just minutes from the fashionable glitzy life of Capri. There is a swimming pool on the stone terrace with panoramic views overlooking the Gulf of Naples with sauna and open air jacuzzi, as well as a library of over 1000 books. There is also table tennis and table football and out door dining and a patio for cocktails. This is also a wonderful setting for weddings and celebrations or simply a romantic candle lit dinner under the starry sky.
There are 5 bedrooms – Romeo and Juliet (suite with terrace), The Nest (Suite with pool view), The Birdie (Double room with garden view), The Sun (Double room, The Moon (Double room). The architecture is 100% Capri style with floors of majolica, high ceilings, white walls and large windows with lovely views onto the gardens. There is a charming well for collecting water as well as fig, lemon and olive trees. This is a perfect vacation villa, just a short walk to the town of Capri. Luggage can be sent up to the villa from the ferry, and everything is organized for the ultimate comfort of the guests.
